Understanding and use

The result page counts the four stems and the primary elements of the four branches once each, for eight characters. A complete distribution is unavailable when pillar data is incomplete. This excludes hidden stems and seasonal weighting and does not establish strength or favorable elements, or imply that a missing element must be added. In downloaded JSON, the original elements field still counts stems only, a different scope from the displayed surface distribution. Use categories as reading aids, not conclusions for health, investment or relationship decisions.
